Scott T. Hinson
scott t. actor
AEA and SAG-AFTRA
Scott T. Hinson is a character actor. He is 5'10", weighs 165 lbs when he lays off the doughnuts, has very pretty green eyes which tend to change color depending on what he is wearing and is blessed with a full head of brownish salt and pepper hair.
A performer since the age of 5, he was first cast as "Baby Bear" in a kindergarten play presented to the PTA at Shiloh Elementary in Monroe, NC, back in the 1900s. He studied acting at the Governor's School of NC and got his high school diploma AND his BFA from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. It's been a veritable shooting gallery of colorful characters ever since.
He typically gets cast as a grade A jackass (think prosecuting attorney in "To Kill A Mockingbird")...
...or as the guy you feel sorry for (like the student who unsuccessfully tries to set himself on fire in "Moonchildren")...
...or as the guy that something really bad happens to (like the mentally slow fisherman in "Men's Lives" who falls out of a boat and then drowns because he can't get his hip boots off in time). (Seriously, people, Scott had to drown. on. stage.)
